INTRODUCE

3F Making color swatches in software

1. Select final color swatches and tints for your cover.

You can choose up to four colors & three tints of each color (maximum of four colors and twelve tints, no minimum number of colors & tints)

2. Make these colors and tints into swatches in Indesign, and also in either Illustrator or Photoshop (depending on whether your cover artwork will be predominantly raster or vector based).

3. Change the view of swatches to 'large list', then take a screenshot of the swatches in your chosen programs.

4. Upload these screenshots to your journal.
