6.4 Persuade Me Communication Challenge, by Rhea Agpaoa, Fall 2014
Part A: Design
Part B: Documentation
What would you describe the visual style of your content elements as? Are all the elements in a similar visual style? Why or why not?
I wanted the visual style to resemble the elements that Project Unbreakable uses on their website. A lot of the images they take or are submitted to them have handwritten signs and their website uses turquoise as an emphasis color with serif text.
What is the visual narrative (visual story) you intended to tell in this presentation?
Not everyone has this experience, but there are a lot of people out there who have.
How effective was your interactive presentation at demonstrating pitching? What are you happy with about your interactive presentation? What would you have done differently if you had more time/skills?
I didn’t do much work when it comes to creating a story for Project Unbreakable. Since this is technically a crowd sourcing project, it’s the people who have contributed and the people who are helping to keep this project going that make the story compelling. I’m happy that I could keep it all uniform and that the presentation is close to the actual project in visuals. If I had more time, I would have asked students on UNR’s campus to share their experience and make the topic more serious and closer to home.
