How effective was your use of street art at improving the signifier?

I wasn’t able to place my piece in the location that I originally wanted.  I’ve been wanting to place this piece for a really long time and when this opportunity came up, I was excited to go back and make an addition to the location.  By the time I got there, a lot of the stickers were torn off, painted over, or someone tagged the area.  I was very upset and didn’t want my hard work to be treated disrespectfully.  Instead, I found a place for others to start over.

What are you happy with about your interactive photo?

I’m actually happy that the colors work well together, especially with the limited icons that ThingLink provides.  I used some of the tips mentioned in class, to make sure the icons don’t take away from the picture too much.

What would you have done differently if you had more time/skills?

If I had more time, I would have found a new location for my sticker.  It looks so lonely by itself and I doubt I’ll get any replies at the location that I placed it in.  Location is the most important thing about street art and I wish I could have found a different place for mine.
