In my image I used both the word from my Type as Image challenge and the archival image from my Repurposing challenge. I am actually very happy with how well the word, and the image of the houses after the earthquake, worked together and how my idea of making the word from my Type as Image challenge apply to the archival image from my Repurposing challenge, because just as the letters in the word seem to pick themselves back up and gain stability towards the end of the word, the city of San Frnacisco was rebuilt after the earthquake. I also tried to align the word with the line of the roof and I am pleased with how that looks.
If I had more time and a higher skill level, I would've liked to have added a cool design to the back of the post card and I would've liked to have experimented more with the skills I learned for doing clipping paths from the previous challenge. I also would've liked to play around more with the colors because this combination of colors is honestly not my favorite.
